Arrival<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Those camping are welcome to arrive the night before (Friday). You should arrive from 2:30pm onwards and the venue has a strict policy that there should be no arrivals before 2pm. Be aware that we will be running around getting the venue ready for the main event, so: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • You\u2019re on your own. We aren\u2019t being anti-social; we\u2019re panicking!<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • You won\u2019t have access to the building, except for the toilets<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • You may be roped in to help \ud83d\ude0a<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Wedding day<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The official start time on Saturday is midday, so those camping may wish to pitch before then so you don\u2019t miss anything. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you’re camping or just arrive really early, you may like to know that the main campsite has an outdoor cafe called Blas yr Allt<\/strong> which serves breakfast from 7am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    15:00 – Wedding breakfast
    17:30 – Cutting of the cake
    20:00 – Evening snack
    24:00 – Bar closes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Aftermath<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Jon intends to drag the brave up Snowdon on the Sunday morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Others may (weather permitting) find the lake a more appetising option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    There is also a beautiful waterfall not too far up the Watkins path, which can be accessed from the site, and offers a gentler walk and reward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We have access to the venue and private camping fields on the Sunday night, so will be having a few quiet drinks with those who fancy camping an extra night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    After aftermath<\/s> “honeymoon”<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    After the cleanup on Monday, we’re rolling down the hill to the main campsite where we’re staying (with kids) until the end of the week.
